On Monday the 23rd of September, nine OIC students traveled to London to celebrate the 42nd International Mathematical Olympiad. The International Mathematical Olympiad is a mathematical competition which involves school-age students from around the world.
The attending students, all of who are looking to apply for either mathematical or computer science degrees in the future, immensely enjoyed the experience. The event, this year, included a guest speech from Dr. Jeremy King of Tonbridge School who spoke about The Romanian Polygon Game.
